Commission Regulations
Highmark will NOT pay commissions on:
• Medicare supplement products - MedigapBlue (individual) and Signature 65
(group)
|
|
|
Commissions will be paid on:
• Existing Highmark members moving from an Under-65 Commercial Individual or Group product to BlueRx or one of Highmark’s Medicare Advantage plans
• Existing Highmark Medicare supplement (MedigapBlue or Signature 65) and/or BlueRx members moving to one of Highmark’s Medicare Advantage plans
• Existing Highmark members moving from one Highmark Medicare Advantage product/plan to another Highmark Medicare Advantage product/plan

2012 Medicare Advantage Product Training & Certification
This year Highmark will be providing you with two links to the Gorman training site.
1. All producers who took the Gorman training for 2011 will receive an email from Highmark Senior Markets notifying them that the 2012 training is available. This email will be sent by no later than Monday August 22, 2011. Below, please find the link for all existing Highmark Senior Market producers:

NOTE:
- 2011 username & passwords will not work for 2012. Click on "Don’t have an account? Click Here to Register". Enter your social security number and follow the prompts. Your new password must be at least 8 characters using upper- and lowercase letters, one number and one symbol.
- Once you have logged in, you should click on the program name: "2012 Highmark Existing Agents" (on the My Programs tab) to begin the training process.
Then follow the steps for the "2012 Highmark Existing Agents".
Important: In the second step "Highmark 2012 Agent Information" you will be asked a number of questions. Be sure to select the appropriate service area(s) and complete the remaining questions as shown in the image below.
Then follow the remaining steps to completion and the training modules will be uploaded.
2. There will be a separate link for new Highmark Senior Market producers (producers who did not complete the training last year). This link will allow new producers to create an account on the training site and complete the training.

As in previous years, there will be no charge for Highmark’s annual certification and we will accept AHIP certification for the core Medicare training.
However, all agents will still be required to take the Highmark plan specific training. The training site will also walk you through the upload process for the AHIP certification.
Please note... to be certified to sell during the Annual Election Period (AEP) from Oct 15th- Dec 7th, 2012 all producers must complete the
certification process by September 30, 2011 - no exceptions permitted.
